Welcome to Homer Village Market online!   Homer is a small, rural community
in Licking County, Ohio, about 30 miles northeast of Columbus, halfway
between Mount Vernon and Granville on State Route 661 near the Knox County
line (see map at bottome of page).  The store is tiny but well-stocked with an
amazing variety of goods , and new items are introduced regularly.   Next to
the store, a mobile restaurant offers a wide range of food cooked to order.   We
have what you need every day and for special occasions  such as entertaining
or visiting the local winery.   If you are on the go, stop in to grab a snack and
refreshing beverage.  Call ahead to our seasonal grill, if you want food cooked
and ready when you get here (grill closed Mon. and Tues.)   We offer friendly,
personalized service, and we accept credit/debit cards and EBT for eligible
items.

In addition to basic groceries, housewares, picnic supplies, and hardware, we
carry dozens of brands of Ohio products, including gourmet and ethnic foods,
snacks, pre-made sandwiches, candy, ice cream,  seasonal fresh produce,
locally produced "cottage foods", and local farm products.  We offer a selection
of  small toys, office supplies, and some unique gifts.  We try to keep on hand
items people request such as sugar-free, low-sodium, and gluten-free foods for
special diets.  Our personal care products include natural  specialty lines.

Since we own a nearby farm with poultry and sheep,  Homer Village Market
customers can buy free-range brown eggs and pastured lamb raised on our
farm.   Our USDA inspected lamb cuts are frozen and vacuum packed.   We can
also connect you with local sources of hay, straw, firewood, and nursery stock.

If you are unable to visit the store but want to order something to be shipped or
delivered locally, please contact us.   Right now we are featuring several Ohio
products besides our lamb:    Vino de Milo sauces, Cooper's Mill jams, Rossi
Pasta,  Anthony Thomas chocolates, Graeter's Ice Cream, Ben's Mustard, Papp's
Peppers, and organic maple syrup from Green Field Farms.

  
Store hours are 10:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.  
Sunday hours are 10:30 a.m. til 5 p.m.  Closed Mondays and some  
holidays, so please call to verify hours.  The mobile Grill is closed on
Mondays and Tuesdays and open Wednesday through Sunday  at
least the same hours or more hours than the retail store.
