Located halfway between Mount Vernon and Granville on State Route 661 just south of the Knox County line, the store is tiny but well-stocked with an amazing variety of goods. If you like exotic meats and love to cook, we offer several unusual varieties such as alligator, whole duck, frogs legs, and many specialty sausages. We offer many varieties of Amish cheeses, pickles and jams from Ohio's heartland. If you are on the go, stop in to grab a snack and refreshing beverage. Check for current in-store specials. We offer friendly, personalized service, and we accept cash, credit/debit cards, and EBT (SNAP) for eligible items. Sorry, no personal checks. You can purchase gift certificates in the store or on our website Gifts page. Since we own a nearby farm with free-range poultry and sheep, Homer Village Market customers can buy fresh brown eggs and pastured lamb raised on our farm. Our USDA inspected lamb cuts are frozen and vacuum packed. A nearby farm supplies Homer Village Market with grass-fed, black-angus beef. The beef is also cut to our specifications locally at a USDA inspected facility, vacuum wrapped and frozen. For your convenience, we have basic groceries, essential housewares, picnic supplies, and hardware. We feature dozens of brands of Ohio food products, including specialty foods such as Rossi Pasta, Vino de Milo sauces, local maple syrup and Ohio honey, Ben's Mustard, Anthony Thomas candy, and Bullhead's Beef Jerky. We offer a selection of small toys, office supplies, and some unique gifts. Our personal care products include aromatherapy products and other natural specialty lines. We also stock farm animal feed and wild birdseed supplied by D&L Grain and Feed in Utica, and we can help you source hay and straw.
